Speaking of having your palm read, that reminded me of this track from The Fiery Furnaces. They’re blowing up with buzz all over the blogoshere this summer with their latest album Blueberry Boat. Buzz Factor = Very high. This particular track is from their previous album Gallowsbird’s Bark. Their music is interesting, which is a word that has been so overused, it’s lost it’s true meaning. I listen to them and I’m interested in hearing every lyric, every note, I wanna figure out what the hell Eleanor Friedberger is talking about. I’m not going out on a limb at all to say that I would keep my eyes and ears open to hear a lot more about this brother and sister act very soon.
