$tinkworx - Manowar
August 27th, 2004 by Rachelandthecity
Here’s an obscure one. I know nothing at all about $tinkworx except that they fall right into a vein of house music that I adore (see my posts featuring Metro Area and Daniel Wang). $tinkworx are a bit more low-tech than my parenthetical mentions. Their rhythms sound like unaffected 808, a sound I can’t seem to stop living for. And the flowy, off-key synth gets me every time. $tinkworx reminds me of the equally obscure Manhead right down to the 12″ art. I wonder if they’re one and the same.

Great choice, Brandon. I dig this sound too. It reminds me of the Miss Kitten mixes. Perfect!

please take down this track at once… you have no permission to post this song and especially at a high bit rate. I would highly advise you to do this TODAY or face legal consequences.
