I know what you’re thinking: Bruce Springsteen? Tom Cruise? Uhm, ya! I haven’t been into The Boss since 1984’s Born in the USA (hey, I was 10! And that album was really hot! hot! hot! I used to have these fantasies that he and Madonna would get married because they were the biggest rock stars on the planet and if you were a rock star wouldn’t you want to marry another rock star?!) but this song made me re-evaluate ole Bruce. Sure, I decided I wasn’t mistaken by ignoring his blue-collar yodelings for the past 20 years - but at least I can say that with confidence. Carry On.
