So Ian Brown just released a new album. If you’re not familiar with him, he used to be the lead singer in a little band called The Stone Roses. They were part of the original Manchester movement. If you’re under 20, you probably have no idea what I’m talking about, but back in the early 90’s they kind of resurrected the rock movement in the UK (Kind of like what’s happening now in the movement away from the teen pop scene in America). I always liked their stuff, but I had friends who worshipped them. I was more of a Happy Mondays fan myself. Anyone remember when they used to play Step On at clubs?

Anyway, this is the new single from Ian’s album Solarized. He’s been playing around London with Noel Gallagher, so look for his picture in the London tabloids any moment.
