Bonobo - Flutter
October 26th, 2004 by Rachelandthecity

Simon Green’s sophomore outing as Bonobo is one of the best chill-out albums I’ve heard. Let me rephrase that. I don’t ususally pay much attention to downtempo artists, but when I heard Dial M for Monkey, I actually asked who the artist was. I tend to find straight electronica instrumentals kind of boring, but the tracks on this album are quirky and not too long. This album is lush and beautiful and it always puts me in a positive mood. Of course, I liked Moby’s Play too, so what the hell do I know?
In other news, I went to the Memphis Zoo last week and got to see the new Bonobo’s they have housed there. Primates rawk!
BONUS TRACKS: Noctuary, Nothing Owed
