Ardent Sessions: What Made Milwaukee Famous

Les Hommes - Pousada Do Amor

September 28th, 2005 by Rachelandthecity

Like a warm summer breeze from your favorite coastal spot, Les Hommes delivers a laid back jazz/bossa mood that pleases the senses. Although they embrace the DJ culture, their music is played on live instruments rather than turntables.

Making a name for themselves in Europe with this, their debut album, Les Hommes (2002), the trio have been tapping into the dance scene with their quirky, organ laiden grooves and modal jazz vibe - reviving the sounds of the 60’s jazz movment. They create the end all latino-pop soundtrack for those late nights after the drive of electronic beats have driven one to the point of nervousness and nail biting - smoothing it all out and handing it to you on a silver platter.

Feel it, jazz it, vibe it….
