The Easy Access Orchestra - Love Letter

September 15th, 2005 by Rachelandthecity

Back - and with lounge (imagine that). Easy Access Orchestra sound something like that one Henry Mancini soundtrack that never made it to press - the one that he wrote whilst on a mild drinking spree in Paris. Their album, Affair (Irma, 2001) has a pure 50’s/60’s vibe that sounds nothing like South London, where Ralph Lamb and Andy Ross base themselves for this cocktail driven collection of Bossa grooves and coffee house swing. Featuring the Herbaliser`s brass section amongst the players the album is indeed modern retro for the urban sophisticats out there.

Bonus libation - Nasty Cha Cha Cha
