As I was deleting press releases in my inbox, something I am extremely behind on, I scanned one and came across a few things that caught my attention:

Wanted to let you know about one of our new bands that I’m pretty excited about - Vega 4. To give you an idea of what we’re dealing with, the UK band’s new album was produced by Garret ‘Jacknife Lee’ (Bloc Party, Editors, U2, Snow Patrol).

Ok, those are some heavy hitters in my book…

Their single “Life Is Beautiful” taken from their album You And Others will be featured on the Nov 2nd episode of Grey’s Anatomy and will be up at iTunes on Oct 31st.

Ok, I admit, after downloading the entire second season of Grey’s, I am totally hooked and am always very smug that I could easily work as their music supervisor as almost every song they use on that show is part of my music collection. Some might see the show as a schlocky mellowdrama revolving around love triangles, but I find it entertaining as every single person on that show is majorly fucked up in a realistic way, just like most people I know.

If you happen to be travelling around London this week make sure you keep your eyes peeled because dotted around the capital are a number of Vega4 pieces of artwork.
