New Arma Secreta Video - Segue/Debris Plus 4 Free MP3’s

Arma Secreta released their debut album, A Century’s Remains, nationally back in September. Often compared to Cursive or a more revved-up Pinback, I first wrote a feature about the band last year for the Commercial Appeal when their record was released locally. In the past 12 months the record has slowly crept onto the national and international radar being reviewed by NeuFutur, Paramilitary, Decoy, Transform Online, Alternative Press and HM. Keeping in line with full disclosure, my brother is one of Chris Wark’s best friends and he directed the video for Segue/Debris (which recently won second place in the Indie Memphis Music Video Showcase) - so you can check out those other reviews for a more objective viewpoint, but I think they pretty much rock!

The band is currently on tour with another local Memphis fave, The Coach and Four, but they return home this Friday night for a short break and to play a homecoming show at the Hitone before hitting the road again. If they come to a town near you, you should check them out.
